RESETTLEMENT (PR / PNP)

  • Once student completes 2 years of his studies, he/she is eligible for upto 3 years of Open Post Graduation Work Permit.
  • With 3 years of Open Post Graduate work permit he has to do a field work with ref of his study.

Minimum Wage per hour is $15.00 During Study

  • Student studying in college is legally allowed to work 4 hours daily that means 20 hrs a week (5 days a week)
  • 4hrs a day / 20hrs a week ($15 per hour) 2. 4 months of Vacation
  • 8hrs a day / 40hrs a week
  • Even students could work on Sat & Sun too. Lets say students work on Sat & Sun we have on an average 52 sat & sun in a year & 8hrs of job in a day
  • 1st Criteria: For Diploma, Adv Diploma & Bachelor – IELTS score should be 6.5 overall & not less than 6.0
    For PG/Graduate Diploma & Masters – IELTS score should be 6.5 overall & not less than 6.0. If student doesn’t meet the criteria of IELTS then need to process Non SDS
  • 2nd Criteria: GIC 10,000 CAD
  • 3rd Criteria: Advance payment of 1st year of fees before visa process

Notes:

If a student is applying under Non SDS, it is advisable to show extra funds of around Rs 15 – 20 Lakhs.

The expenses incurred for studying in Canada can comprise of tuition fees, living costs, insurance, etc. The universities set their own fees depending on the location, citizenship and level of study.

The preparation to study in Canada for Indian students should begin 1 year in advance. The major intake for Canada primarily is ‘Fall’, September. The other intake is in the month of January i.e ‘Winter’, but it depends on the student’s program and the institution that he/she is applying to. Very few institutes might have the May intake as well.

The average cost of living in Canada varies from approx CA$8,000 – 10,000 per year. Need to process 10,000 CAD of GIC in Advance.
